All our solid teak furniture is handmade by craftsmen from recycled teak. The teak is taken mainly from old houses and bridges that are being demolished to make way for new.

Traditional and Contemporary Styled Solid Teak Furniture
We only produce traditional and contemporary solid teak furniture at our factories in Burma. Each piece is unique and not mass produced, our furniture has a timeless elegance and will last a lifetime. We ship our furniture from Burma to Hua Hin each and every week of the year.

A Common Myth
Many companies stress the age of their teak and use this factor in justifying price. All reclaimed teak is old, when you consider the trees growing life, then its second life as part of a construction, your reclaimed teak will always be around 80 to 120 years old. We offer a solid range of teak furniture at a very fair price, guaranteed.
Rubberwood/Parawood/MDF/Particle Boards/Veneers

Indonesian and Malaysian Teak.

None of these materials are used in the manufacture of our furniture. These materials
soon lose their showroom lustre and won't stand the test of time.

The product we offer is not competing with the lower priced imitations, our furniture is suitable for heavy use and will last a lifetime. Many hotels, restaurants and bars have our furniture in daily use, we have a large portfolio available upon request.

Furniture should be used and admired, choosing a lower priced option will often leave you feeling cheated in both these aspects.

"if we wouldn't have it in our home rest assured
we wouldn't send it to yours"

Burmese Art & Antiques

We are far from an anonymous internet business; our roots are firmly in face to face retail. Our philosophy is "Excellence through consistent quality"

There seems to be far too much stuffiness and elitism where art and antiques are concerned. We are not experts in this field and many of our clients are far more eloquent in the history and provenance of some of our pieces.

During our extensive travels through South East Asia and in particular Burma, we discover some beautiful pieces. We do not buy from dealers or sell through internet sites or auction houses.

Our primary business is the manufacture of teak furniture, the teak is taken from old buildings which are being cleared to make way for new. Occasionally we have the opportunity to acquire old hotels. These are wonderful and very interesting finds. The structure of these buildings is made up of teak beams which we turn into furniture. We also discover old furniture, art and sometimes antiques.

Our clients are Private Collectors, Interior Designers, Property Developers, Architects and Hotel Groups. We have a high-quality selection of versatile, functional and unusual items, including antiques, furniture, doors, lacquerware, lighting, mirrors and carpets.

On one of our trips we were shown an old building which had been used as a bank. The bank manager had a very impressive desk which we purchased along with three others in the old boardroom. The desk is pictured below (Mandalay Table) and one of our clients in Hua Hin, Thailand is the proud owner.

Each piece on this page has been sourced by ourselves. All the items on this page are available for sale. We are based in Hua Hin, Thailand, but sell to clients around the world.

Some of the pieces that we find never make it to this page. We sometimes email clients with full details including pictures and a price and clients purchase on the strength of our reputation. Please let us know and we can include you on our mailing list.

Specific antique furniture and religious artifacts can also be individually sourced, once we know exactly what you are seeking.

It is no exaggeration to say that the arts and crafts of Burma have have reached a degree of excellence rarely attained elsewhere in the world.

All pictures were taken at our showrooms in Burma, Mae Sot and Hua Hin, we hope you enjoy looking at the unique and beautiful pieces, our stock is continually changing.
